Contest Terms & Conditions

 1. Organiser

The Pacific Bookstores Pay with PAYNOW Lucky Draw 2025 (“Lucky Draw”) is organised by Pacific Bookstores Pte Ltd (Company Registration Number: 199905993R) (“the Organiser”) in accordance with PayNow guidelines. By participating in this Lucky Draw, all participants agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions (“T&Cs”) and the decisions of Pacific Bookstores Pte Ltd in all matters relating to this Lucky Draw.


2. Eligibility

  • The Lucky Draw is open to all Singapore residents aged 18 years and above as of the start of the Lucky Draw Period.
  • Participants aged below 21 years old must have the consent and supervision of a parent or legal guardian to participate.
  • Employees of Pacific Bookstores Pte Ltd, its affiliates, advertising agencies, vendors, and their immediate family members (parents, siblings, spouse, and children) are not eligible to participate.
  • Participants must be residing in Singapore at the time of participation and prize redemption.
  • Pacific Bookstores Pte Ltd reserves the right to request proof of age, identity, and residence at any time.
  • Pacific Bookstores Pte Ltd retains absolute discretion to determine the eligibility of any participant. Its decision shall be final and binding.

3. Lucky Draw Period

  • The Lucky Draw ends on 31 December 2025, 23:59 hrs (Singapore Time).
  • Purchases made outside this period will not be eligible.
  • Pacific Bookstores Pte Ltd reserves the right to shorten, extend, or alter the Lucky Draw Period at its sole discretion without prior notice.

4. How to Participate

  • Participants must make a minimum purchase of S$100 in a single transaction on www.pacificbookstores.com using PayNow as the payment method.
  • Only PayNow payments made through the official Pacific Bookstores online checkout platform are eligible.
  • For every S$100 spent in a single transaction, the participant will receive one (1) Lucky Draw chance. For example, S$250 = 2 chances.
  • Each transaction must meet the minimum spend requirement independently.
  • Participants are automatically entered into the Lucky Draw upon completing their eligible PayNow transaction.
  • Transactions that are incomplete, cancelled, refunded, or not made via PayNow will not qualify.
  • Pacific Bookstores Pte Ltd’s records of eligible transactions shall be final and conclusive.

  • Pacific Bookstores Pte Ltd reserves the right to replace any prize with another of equal or greater value without prior notice.
  • Prize images are for illustration only and may differ from the actual product.
  • Each participant may win only one (1) prize regardless of the number of entries submitted.

6. Winner Announcement & Redemption

  • Winners will be announced on 31 January 2026, 12:00 pm via the Pacific Bookstores website and notified by email.
  • Winners must acknowledge the notification email within seven (7) calendar days from the date of notification to confirm acceptance.
  • Winners may be required to provide identification and proof of purchase for verification.
  • Failure to respond within the specified period will result in forfeiture of the prize. Pacific Bookstores Pte Ltd may select a replacement winner at its discretion.
  • Prizes will be delivered to winners within four (4) weeks of confirmation, or as otherwise specified in the winner notification.
  • Pacific Bookstores Pte Ltd is not responsible for any lost, delayed, or misdirected notifications or deliveries.

7. Disqualification

  • Pacific Bookstores Pte Ltd reserves the right to disqualify any participant who: - Tampers with or manipulates the entry process; - Submits fraudulent or invalid payment records; - Violates these Terms and Conditions; - Engages in any conduct that unfairly influences or compromises the integrity of the Lucky Draw.
  • Refunded, cancelled, or incomplete PayNow transactions are automatically void.

8. Use of Personal Data

  • By participating, participants consent to the collection, use, and disclosure of their personal data by Pacific Bookstores Pte Ltd for the purpose of administering the Lucky Draw, contacting winners, and for future marketing communications.
  • Personal data collected includes: Full Name, Contact Number, Email Address, and (for winners) Delivery Address.
  • Pacific Bookstores Pte Ltd will store and process data securely and will not sell or disclose personal information to third parties except as required by law.
  • Participants may withdraw consent by contacting contest@pacificbookstores.com. Processing of withdrawal requests may take up to fourteen (14) working days.

9. Publicity

By accepting a prize, winners agree that Pacific Bookstores Pte Ltd may use their name, image, and/or likeness for publicity, promotional, and marketing purposes (including on its website and social media channels) without further compensation or notice.


10. Liability & Indemnity

  • To the maximum extent permitted by law, Pacific Bookstores Pte Ltd and its affiliates shall not be liable for any loss, damage, or injury of any kind arising from participation in the Lucky Draw or from the use of any prize.
  • Participants agree to indemnify and hold Pacific Bookstores Pte Ltd harmless from any claim, demand, or liability arising from their participation in this Lucky Draw.

11. Rights of the Organiser

  • Pacific Bookstores Pte Ltd reserves the right to suspend, cancel, amend, or terminate the Lucky Draw or any part thereof without prior notice or liability.
  • All decisions by Pacific Bookstores Pte Ltd regarding the Lucky Draw are final, conclusive, and binding.
  • No correspondence or appeals will be entertained.
  • This Lucky Draw is not sponsored, endorsed, or administered by PayNow, Apple, or Grab.

12. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Singapore.
